What’s happening this week in Greensburg, April 7-13

Spring is in full swing, Greensburg! Continue to welcome this season with art, live music, breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Easter egg hunts and more. Check out the list below. 

Monday, April 7

Used Book Sale

Shop donated books, movies, puzzles and more at the Greensburg Hempfield Area Library! The sale will run April 7-10 and April 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as April 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. For the last day of the sale (April 14), you’ll have the opportunity to fill brown bags for $5 each (Bags will be provided). Proceeds will benefit the library’s collection development and acquisitions. Learn more.

Joan Chambers Concert Series: Heinz Chapel Choir

The Heinz Chapel Choir is delighted to return to the Joan Chambers Concert Series at the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg, where they will sing their spring concert program for the first time this season. The concert starts at 8 p.m. Learn more.

Art on Tap: Art-Fools Day

Art gets funny at this Art on Tap featuring off-the-wall entertainment and artful high jinks starting at 6 p.m. Enjoy stand-up comedy from Auggie Cook and more plus take home a laugh-worthy keepsake by local caricature artist Randy Bish. Art on the Vine – Greensburg Art Center 2025 Annual Fundraiser

This year’s fundraiser will be honoring artists Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera with a colorful, festive Mexican-themed party. Easter Egg Hunt

The Greensburg Country Club is hosting Easter Egg Hunts and brunch! The ages 6 and under egg hunt starts at 10 a.m., the ages 7-13 egg hunt starts at 10:30 a.m., and brunch runs from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Costs $26 for adults and $19 for kids ages 6-12 (kids 5 and under are free).
