Our Story

In the summer of 2015 the idea of the Downtown Greensburg Project came to be while working at a local small business along South Pennsylvania Avenue.

The idea was to promote the small businesses in the greater Greensburg area through social media and hopefully attract new people to downtown Greensburg.

It’s 10 years later and we’ve evolved as a small business, but we’re still here and still promoting small businesses through social media as well as throwing some of the best events in the area.

What we do

The goal of the Downtown Greensburg Project has always been to promote and advocate for the area, supporting local small businesses, exploring the arts, culture and events and showcasing Greensburg.

We do all of this for free for all of the businesses, organizations and events we promote through our social media and website.

Work with us

As a small business, the Downtown Greensburg Project also offers a variety of Partnership, Event Sponsorship and Advertising Opportunities to local businesses and organizations.

All DGP Partnerships run April 1 to March 31 in line with our event season and Event Sponsorships run the duration of each specific event.

New Advertising Opportunities are now available for businesses and organizations to explore.
