Monday, July 7

Sculpting Human Busts in Clay with Stephanie Oplinger

In this week-long summer clay camp at the Greensburg Art Center, students will learn to sculpt expressive human busts using the slab construction method. Students will explore facial expression and anatomy while building their own unique clay bust. Through hands-on demos, creative exercises and guided critique, participants will gain confidence in clay handbuilding techniques while learning how sculpture can tell powerful stories and expressions.
