Jigsaw Puzzle Race: Invisible Man Brewing

Looking for a night out with some puzzling fun at a local brewery? Puzzles & Pints is an event created for lovers of jigsaw puzzles and beer that places teams of up to four players head-to-head in a competition to put together a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. Kids Summer Camp Series: Session 2 – Candles, Bath Bombs, Slimes & Potions

Join Wicks & Wax Studio and The Willow Creek Studio for their collaborative kid’s summer camp experience at Wicks & Wax. There will be three days of fun, creativity and imaginative exploration. Day 1 includes candle making and bath bomb making; Day 2 includes sand candles and bath bomb painting; and Day 3 includes summer slime and magic potion. Each day will run from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each ticket includes access to both workshop experiences in one day and snacks will be provided. Bring your crochet, sewing, knitting or whatever other needlework projects you’re working on to put in some time around fellow practitioners! It’s a perfect way for knitters and crocheters of any skill level to come together, learn from each other and enjoy some B-Y-O libations (for guests age 21+) in a casual environment. Join The Westmoreland and Discover Westmoreland for a fur-tastic day of fun, creativity and community! Celebrate the wonders of the animal kingdom with interactive education sessions and hands-on animal-themed art activities. Plus, don’t miss your opportunity to explore the Art Maze, and celebrate the unveiling of one of Westmoreland County’s America250PA commemorative bells. Westmoreland County Bells Across PA Bell Unveiling

The Westmoreland Museum of American Art collaborated with America250PA, Discover Westmoreland, Westmoreland Heritage, and GO Laurel Highlands to select artist Mandy Sirofchuck to create the bell that will be on display at the Museum. Her glass mosaic design depicts the region’s iconic landmarks and waterways, diverse wildlife, and lush natural resources. The bell also references significant places in Westmoreland County and the hardworking spirit of the people who call this area home. The unveiling will take place at 11 a.m. Learn more.
